Makori described his son as a hard worker and a good planner who took his academics seriously.

"Lewis has been a gift to this family, he has never given us any problems, and I have never pushed him to read because he knows how to plan," the proud father said.

He appealed to family and friends to help him make the dream of his son to study at the prestigious Harvard University come true.

"I would like to ask our friends in the country and outside the country if we can get a scholarship so that this guy can be able to achieve his dream because he has been saying he wants to study at Harvard University in the US if we get a scholarship we will be very happy," he said.

Migosi's message to other students

The highflyer encouraged other students to work closely with their teachers, and look for revision papers for proper preparedness.

"The secret is consulting and getting close to the teachers there is hardly a day that passed without me visiting my teachers; I kept doing more papers from other schools like Kenya High, and Alliance boys papers and I would just excel in them," he advised.

He asked them to be disciplined and work hard because they were the biggest recipe for academic excellence.

"I want to encourage other students that getting an A is easy but you have to work hard," Migosi told students yet to sit their exams.
